Increasingly, BME third sector organisations are being asked to
prove their ‘added value’ and to demonstrate the effects of their work on local
people. We can help you to measure and
market the impact of your work to funders, policy makers and others.

Through LIFT: Forward Thinking we are offering administrative and
management support to those that need some extra help to get their organisation
off the ground. This might involve improving internal administrative
procedures, or developing better staff supervision processes for example. We
will make sure the support meets your organisation’s specific needs and
priorities.
Is LIFT: Forward Thinking right for you?
LIFT: Forward Thinking is for any BME
owned, managed or focussed organisation with social aims, such as charities,
voluntary and community organisations or social enterprises. Organisations must
be located in the West Midlands and be in the
early stages of establishing or running their business.
Benefits of joining other Forward Thinking organisations…
- Support
is delivered in house, where possible, so you don’t have to waste time and
money on travel.
- Support
is tailored specifically towards BME third sector organisations, based on
brap’s wealth of experience and research.
- Relevant,
timely information in the form of e-bulletins, guidance packs and policy
reviews.
- As
a Forward Thinking organisation, you will be the first to hear about
opportunities that arise within the other strands of LIFT.

We need to find ways to give a voice to the challenges faced by BME
third sector organisations in the region. We
will set up networks to promote partnerships between BME third sector
organisations. We will also create an inequalities taskforce to ensure the
voice of BME third sector organisations is heard in the region.
