Every three months Speak Out will deliver a magazine packed with articles, stories, poems, photographs and comment, and to do this we need your help.
Whether you’re a poet, an artist, a writer, a
photographer or someone who has something to say send us your work and ideas.
It doesn’t matter if you’re aspiring or established, young or old. All that
counts is that you want the opportunity to share your work with the whole of We want to know what it's like living in Birmingham. Is Birmingham a fair city? Is Birmingham united? Is the city your home? What does that mean to you? Whether it's an essay, photograph, poem, or story, this is your chance to tell everyone your perspective on This is Birmingham
Submissions for the next magazine must be received by Friday 24 October 2008.
How to submit your work Speak Out is your magazine, so we’ve made it as easy as possible for you to send in your contributions. Words (comment | features | short stories | poems | reviews) By This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it – you can email written stuff to us by either attaching a document to the email or typing it straight onto the email By post – we’ll accept hand written articles (as long as we can read them!) or send your article on a CD
By hand – you can also bring your submission to our
