Scott has a BA
in Anthropology and a MA in Political Science from Appalachian State
University. He is currently working towards his PhD in Ethnic Relations at the University of Warwick . Before joining brap, Scott spent eight years working in various facets of equalities and
community development in Washington, DC, Ukraine,
Jordan, and in the UK.
Scott has played a role in a number of research projects, including
examining the situation facing traumatized refuges in the UK, as well as ethnic collective action in Jordan and in Jerusalem. Scott has presented at a
number of international conferences on activism in public health, Roma issues,
and refugees and asylum seekers. He is conversational in Russian, and is
familiar with Arabic.
