We work thematically in areas such as health, education, employment and housing, assisting in the interpretation of legislation and regulations that affect performance and outcomes. Our affiliation service is an extension of this support, offering hands-on advice / support to our affiliation network.

We have worked with a large range of organisations in Birmingham and nationally on a consultancy basis. We offer a number of services, such as:
 
- Advice and guidance for organisations seeking to begin or renew their race equality strategy
- Support to think through how to develop and implement progressive equality policy and practice
- A mirror for reflection enabling a critical insight into an organisation's formal and informal structures, policies and practices
- A sounding board for questions, issues and challenges, both pragmatic and theoretical
