Management Competencies 

Wouldn't it be great if equality - and in particular race equality - was something that you could learn?  We know that this sounds like a silly statement, but our experience leads us to believe that many people think that unless you come from a particular ethnic minority group or possess the right attitudinal mindset, equality isn't something you can really comment on or be good at.  brap does not share this view.  We have spent the last year devising and trialling a set of competencies that will enable everyone, regardless of their origins, to understand how to put equality into practice.  This is not another tick box approach; it is a real opportunity to understand the whys and hows of the agenda, to develop a level of expertise, and to proceed with greater clarity and certainty.

This programme is designed to equip participants with both the competence required to progress and mainstream race equality effectively within their organisations and the confidence to do this in an often challenging environment.
