Talk in the Yard (25 May)

    in What's coming up

Following a successful event on Sunday, we'll be holding another Pushing the Boundaries sesh at 7pm on 25 May at Hobmoor Community Centre, Wash Lane Yardley, B25 8FD.

Yardley has residents from lots of different backgrounds and ethnic groups. For many, this diversity is one of the things they love about the area. However, some people worry that we are not meeting the needs of all residents.

So, is Yardley a fair place to live that is open to everybody? Are our local businesses and public services responding to the needs of our community?

We’re inviting you to take part in an open, honest discussion about these issues and any other things you think are important. We’d like to extend a particular invitation to people living and working in Yardley and surrounding areas who might not have come to an event like this before. It should be a fun and lively discussion and people will be supported and encouraged to get their views across.

Food and drinks will be available on arrival

For more information or to book a place go to https://yardleycommunity.eventbrite.co.uk or give us a ring on 0121 272 8450
