At brap, our work has always been about challenging the narratives that divide us and building the conditions for genuine equality. That’s why we’re proud to be official supporters of the Together Alliance and the national march taking place in London on 28 March.

The Together Alliance is a broad coalition of civil society organisations, unions, artists and community groups who have come together to challenge the growing influence of the far right in the UK and to promote a message of unity across communities.

The alliance is mobilising people from across the country ahead of a major demonstration in central London – an opportunity for individuals and organisations to stand visibly for hope, solidarity, and collective action.

Why this matters

At a time when division is being deliberately sown, showing unity, and hope matters more than ever – not necessarily to change every mind, but to demonstrate that another narrative exists.

Across the UK, we’re seeing political and public conversations that increasingly blame and scapegoat different communities. Movements like the Together Alliance exist to challenge that by making something else visible: the fact that most people believe in fairness, solidarity and dignity.

This march is about showing that racism and division do not represent the majority. It is about creating space for a different story – one rooted in compassion and collective responsibility.

Why brap is involved

Our work has always been about moving beyond performative commitments to equality and engaging people in meaningful reflection and action.

Supporting the Together Alliance fits with that mission. Anti-racism is not just about policy or training. It’s also about culture – about what we normalise, what we challenge, and what we choose to stand up for publicly.

Events like this matter because they make solidarity visible.

They remind people that they are not alone in wanting a society that values inclusion, fairness, and shared humanity.

The march will take place in central London on Saturday 28 March, bringing together organisations, community groups, and individuals from across the country.

Everyone attending will have their own reasons for marching – and that’s exactly the point. The Together Alliance is about creating a broad coalition where people can stand side by side against division and racism.

If you share those values, we encourage you to come along and be part of it.

You can find more information and sign up here. Because moments like this are about more than a single day. They’re about showing that another narrative exists.

And that we are stronger when we stand together.
