Exploring the recruitment and talent management challenge for Black and Minority staff

In putting this seminar together, we need to be clear that we don’t believe that BME staff lack talent or find it challenging to follow recruitment processes, but rather that organisations struggle to understand the reasons for their own lack of equity and fail to use evidence to support their progress. Roger Kline, Research Fellow at Middlesex University Business School and author of ‘The Snowy White Peaks of the NHS’, will be sharing his research on recruitment and talent management, and will focus in particular on what organisations need to do, and not to do, if they are to make sustained progress in this area.
